Shutter Island
It's time for another movie recommendation. I cannot recommend Shutter Island highly enough. It was an amazing psychological thriller. I actually felt like I was going crazy throughout the movie. You can't tell what is real and what isn't so it's impossible to know how it's going to end. I thought the ending was perfect. Also, the acting and photography were exceptional.

I've been really wanting to see that, so I'm glad you recommend it. Hopefully I'll get to see it next weekend. Some of the previews are definitely pretty creepy.

ReplyDeleteI agree Charlie, I saw it this past weekend and LOVED it! It reminded me a lot of the Sixth Sense, probably because of the twisty ending. One of those movies you want to sit down and watch again to catch all of the details and furtive glances between characters.
ReplyDeleteNo one yet has recommended Dennis Lehane's novel Shutter Island, so I will. I'm curious to know how people who first saw the movie will respond to the novel.
