Autopsy pictures on Google
You can find autopsy pictures of all of the Whitechapel murder victims by doing a Google Image search. I thought it was interesting that many of the pictures in the graphic novel closely resemble pictures of the autopsies. They're pretty gross, so I wouldn't recommend them for people with weak stomachs.

As an artist, I personally find it disgusting that the illustrator had to look at those photos and take the time to draw the gruesome illustrations for each frame in the book!
ReplyDeleteAre you disgusted by the artist? Methinks you should be disgusted by the murders that he was determined to depict accurately, so that you could see how disgusting they were.
